1/21/2007 Crotched Mountain BWL Qualifier Race VideoThe 1st run of the Crotched Mountain Qualifier was filmed in high definition video. The 2nd run was photographed. Video and pictures will be posted here as they get processed. DVDs with video of all racers are available for $25 each in single quantities, $15 each for 10 or more copies and $10 each for 20 or more copies. Very high quality photos are available of all racers. Because of size limitations, only low resolution copies of the photos are on this web site. These images are raw from the camera and require hand color balancing and cropping to specific photo sizes. Edited full resolution photo files are $5 each (free to CMRC members). Most pictures are capable of being printed in sizes up to 18x24 inches. Contact brian.allison@adelphia.net for more info.
I've found Quicktime to be a very useful tool to analyze ski video with. It allows you to step back and forth one frame at a time in a very rapid manner using the left and right arrow keys on your computer. You can start/pause the video using the "space" key. If you have iTunes on your computer then you should already have Quicktime installed. If you don't already have Quicktime, it can be downloaded for free from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html
