Coaches
Will Wescott
Will started skiing at the age of 2 and started
racing at the age of 5 at Gunstock Mountain in Gilford, NH. As a J5 and J4
Will made the State Federation Team (same as the BWL team today). As a J1
and J2 racer Will attended the Waterville Valley Race Academy and
was coached by George Capul (former US Ski Team Men's A coach). In college
Will raced four years for the University of New Hampshire and competed in
two NCAA division I championship races. After college (you would think he
had enough of ski racing) Will raced the United States Ski Association
Masters series and was second in the 1993 US Masters National Championships
in Mammoth, CA and won the 1994 US Masters National Championships in Jackson
Hole, WY. Will has previous coaching experience at Gunstock and Mount
Sunapee and this is his third year as a coach at Crotched Mountain.
